International Camp Counselor Training – Germany
Come and join our program for young people interested in becoming a staff member in an international camp – our ICIT (International Counselor in Training) Program. The program is for young people between 17 and 20 years old who have basic English skills and would like to work with kids in an international atmosphere. After successfully completing 2 weeks of training in English, the participants will receive a certificate that verifies they are trained as International Camp Counselor Assistants. Obtaining this qualification, they can be placed as a Camp Counselor Assistant, (from 1 to 3 weeks) at any of our international camps (upon placements availability).
“We finished the Counselors in Training course in 2015 and stayed for a placement. Eversince, we have been back twice more. During summer month we bonded, to such a measure that after camp we remained in contact, and we are currently together in Hamburg after having traveled to places like Madrid, Milan, Berlin, Bonn and Moscow- Being with the same people 24/7 for a month really brought us together and created incredible friendships.

“The crazy stories we have to tell from third and fourth session are memories that will last forever, we are sure. Some of us are coming back as teamers this year, while most of us will be going back to do a placement, back to a summer of admittedly hard work, but full of freedom and fun. Working with children and spending our time together is all we need. We just wanted to thank you guys for this and we hope that our experience will encourage others to join the ICIT program! We will be back this summer!”
